Why WPBakery supports the WP Awards 2025
The WP Awards aren’t just another industry event. Nor intended to be just another shiny badge you put on your site. They’re about recognition, connection and a shared belief in building something better together which is why WPBakery is proud to support the WP Awards 2025.
Why we do it
For those unfamiliar, we’ve been part of WordPress for more than a decade and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: none of us do this alone. We’ve seen and experienced firsthand how community support pushes projects forward: from developers building game-changing tools, freelancers launching businesses, to agencies scaling websites for global brands. And then some.
Supporting The WP Awards 2025 (that is made by The WP Weekly, one of the biggest newsletters for WP professionals) is our way of backing that effort. It’s about recognizing the individuals and teams whose work makes WordPress not just a CMS, but a living, breathing ecosystem we all work and live within.
For us, this isn’t sponsorship – it’s solidarity.
What it means to us
When we support the WP Awards, here’s what we’re really saying:
We see the work. Countless hours go into plugins, themes and services that most people will never notice – but we do. Furthermore, we trust and value the process of acknowledging the winners who are not picked in some boardroom but voted in by the very people that use and love these tools every day.
On top of that, this kind of support inspires and opens the door for others to come this way – by seeing a small plugin or a theme creator get nominated, it can be the spark that motivates others to keep building themselves. And we all strive for that.
Why it matters to you
As a user, you might wonder why any of these matters. Simple:
You get choices – shortlists help cut through the noise and doubt of which tool to use – now you have everything in one place, backed with trust by real users.
Your vote matters – it’s not just symbolic, rather it shapes the future of what gets built, improved, supported.
This way, we’re all in this together – making sure WordPress stays good, strong and accessible to everyone because – the tool is only as good as the people who built it.
To us, this is what “community support” really looks like: recognition that creates momentum.
At the end of the day
Supporting The WP Awards is our way of giving back and a reminder of why we’re here: to empower people to create, belong to a worldwide community and to keep the spirit of open collaboration alive.
So yes, WPBakery is proud to support the WP Awards 2025. It’s the fifth year that this type of event program is taking place, making it a way where we collectively celebrate innovation, hard work and dedication to the WordPress ecosystem while building amazing things and stories around it. And more than that, we’re proud of the people behind it – all the makers, doers, freelancers, agencies and users who keep WordPress moving forward. We see you, we are proud of you and want everyone to know that. To that, we remind you that you have until September 16th to submit your favorites (us included – share some love!) and starting October 1st, the votes are open!
So, here’s to celebrating WordPress excellence – and to shaping the future together.
