Release of WPBakery Page Builder 4.3

After almost 2 months of hard development, the team at WPBakery has managed to roll out another game-changer in the world of WordPress. The new release of the WPBakery Page Builder plugin for WordPress saw the light on the 29th of July, 2014 with tons of new features and capabilities which will surely take you to the brand level of web development. I will briefly describe the most interesting parts of the WPBakery Page Builder 4.3 release which you can try by yourselves already.

Responsive Controls

For a time you had quite a few options on how your website can behave on different devices – you had some control over column stacking and screen size when responsiveness takes place. Starting from version 4.3 you are able to control the size of columns on different devices and define their offsets. Moreover – now you are able to show or hide specific columns on devices of your choice. In other words – now you can show completely different content on desktop and mobile or show it in a completely different way.

Multilanguage Support

You have been waiting for this for so long and finally, it’s here – WPBakery Page Builder is compatible with qTranslate and mqTranslate. Now you can build layouts for your multilanguage sites with WPBakery Page Builder within minutes. If you had a multilanguage site before – now you can easily enhance it with WPBakery Page Builder. Always dreamed about adding more than one language to your website which uses WPBakery Page Builder? Now you are able to do this in no time.

Predefined Layouts

Making website layouts has been a painful process for a lot of users. Instead of focusing on your primary business or just spending time with your family, you need to sit for hours and hours looking for inspiration. In order to ease this process we have introduced predefined layouts which for now contain 6 trendy layout options. With just one click you get a completely ready layout and all you have to do is just replace it with your images and texts and you are good to go. Moreover, theme authors can now define their own predefined layouts for their theme users which makes this feature even more awesome.

Backend UI improvements

With the introduction of the Frontend editor, we felt that we need to improve our beloved Backend editor as well. The main goal of the redesign was to keep the same UI interface structure, which was a familiar and award-winning solution for the huge amount of users, but make it a lot better and align to our new design standards. Plus we have worked on UX improvements that make your life even easier and usage of WPBakery Page Builder more intuitive and handy.

Column Enhancement

With the introduction of the new WPBakery Page Builder, you have now more control over your row/column layouts. The row now serves as a container which allows adding as many columns as you wish and in case there will be no space in one row it will move to the new line, but still stay in the same row (container) element. With this feature WPBakery Page Builder has completely adapted to Bootstrap 3 unique possibilities which has proven to be one of the most popular CSS frameworks.

New Elements

Everyone loves new elements to work with, this is why we have introduced two very handy elements which allow you to create even more stunning layouts.

The first element is something you have been waiting for a long time and it is called ‘Empty Space’. Always wanted to set custom height between elements of some blocks of your layout? Now it is really easy with the ‘Empty Space’ element, no more coding is required.

Another supreme element is ‘Custom Headings’ which allows you to create text blocks or simply heading by using Google Fonts defined typefaces. At the moment there are 43 (Guess why? :)) top quality fonts from Google Fonts available for you to choose and do not forget that each of these fonts has their unique subsets which wider your choice even more.

I know, I know – this all sounds fantastic, and trust me – it is! This has been an amazing release and hope you guys will enjoy it as much as we – while developing it for you.

Cheers,
Michael
